As you may know by now, ABC made a terrible decision and chose not to renew our favourite sci-fi-drama series, FlashForward for a second season :(

I loved, and will love this show. Even though it’s a “freshmen series”, it had a great effect on me, with its philosophy, excitement, genius storyline, remarkable characters and brilliance.

SO. We - together - will not let the show to be canceled! I believe that we can reach great things, if we fight for the survival of the show! Please, FOLLOW EVERY STEP you can to show the whole world what FlashForward means to us! The steps follow each other in descending priority.

0. This is a call to arms - update!

Stephen McPherson, the former ABC President has resigned. From now on, Paul Lee fills this position. Also, Haze Flowers - one of the people who have close connection to the ABC headquarters - reported that our prayers are being heard at the original channel, ABC, and we should focus our powers onto them! So, before flooding all the other networks that could pick up the show, now concentrate on writing, calling & e-mailing Paul Lee and ABC! Addresses and phone numbers to be found below.
It can’t be stressed enough how important it is to be courteous in all of your communication with ABC and Mr. Lee, who holds the keys to FlashForward’s future. If you have any questions or concerns, do not hesitate to ask me!

I. Letters (most important; a postcard/letter means more than an e-mail!)

a) Here is a list of channels who are potential saviors of the show. Bombard them with letters to pick up FlashForward!

b) Write to the  ABC presidents, and tell them your opinions about canceling FlashForward, and wishes to bring it back. Be polite!

c) Write a letter to your local ABC affiliate, telling them that you love the show, and you want to see another season of it. Check out here the address of your ABC affiliate!

d) www.SaveThatShow.com has a feature, through which you can write an e-mail to the given channel, and they will actually send it to them in the form of a printed letter! Click here to write to ABC about bringing the show back, and click here to respectfully ask FOX to pick up the series.

e) Contact the station in your country that airs FlashForward (figure out which one is it). Thank them for supporting the show, and tell them you love it! Ask them what you can do to change ABC’s mind.

Also, send FlashForward-related items (friendship bracelets, calendar sheets with April 29th circled, white chess queens, a sheet with your blue handprint, anything you can come up with) to these addresses!
(As of calendar sheets, print one like this, circle the date and write in the umbrella: “Please make <insert channel name> the May flowers to ABC’s April showers!”)

II. E-mails (these are the most important for those living outside the US)

a) Write e-mails to these networks, convince and encourage them to pick up this great series!

b) Send e-mails to ABC Entertainment President Paul Lee to paul.lee@abc.com! Tell him you loved the show, and ask him respectfully to bring it back. You can also write from http://abc.go.com/site/contact-us to ABC Headquarters with your complaints about it. You’ll find the e-mail addresses of more ABC executives here.

III. Calls

a) Call FOX

  • at (+1) 310-369-1000. If a live operator answers, ask them to put you through to Mr. Kevin Reilly’s voice mail. If you call in after hours, press 1#, then spell R-E-I-L-L-Y on your keypad and press 2 to leave your message.
  • at (+1) 301-369-3066, and tell them that FlashForward needs their help! Rumor says that they wanted to buy the show.

b) Leave a message to SyFy by dialing (+1) 212-664-3571, telling them to pick up FlashForward!

c) Call ABC

  • at (+1) 212-456-7777 (New York Headquarters) and press 1; tell the live operator you want to leave a comment regarding FlashForward, then press 1, 2, and 352 - now leave your message. To reach their office in Burbank, dial (+1) 818-560-1000, and follow the same instructions. Also, look up your local ABC affiliate and call them to save FlashForward!
  • You can call Paul Lee by dialing (+1) 818-560-1000, and telling the live operator you would like to leave a voice message for Paul Lee.

d) Call Starz at (+1) 866-888-4010, ask them to pick up the series. If they ask, tell them your name and cable provider, so that they can pass your request to the programming department.

e) You can call HBO Headquarters at (+1) 212-512-1000, and can fax them to (+1) 212-512-1182 & (+1) 212-512-5698, to tell them how much you want FlashForward to be picked up!

IV. Eat McDonald’s Salad & Save FlashForward!

Money talks - and and if we talk through it, the whole world will hear us! Join the worldwide campaign: go to a local McDonald’s restaurant, and buy any kind of salad! Tell the server you came with the cause of saving FlashForward! Hand them a handwritten piece of paper with the text “Save FlashForward”, and tell them they will receive more of these soon, along with the orders. The spike in the sales will make a huge impact! The same thing saved the series Chuck - now it’s time for You to eat out for our cause!

Feedback: save your receipt. Go to their website and fill out a feedback form. Write them about the cause of saving FlashForward and thanking for sponsoring the show. Or mail your receipt with a nice note to: McDonald’s Corporation, 2111 McDonald’s Dr., Oak Brook, IL 60523.

Repeat this anytime you can! The more we are, the better chances we get!

V. Watch The Show - Raise Viewership Count

a) If you’re living in the US, you can also watch episodes online, either on ABC.com or on Hulu, here!

b) If you live outside the US, check out if you have the show in your own country here, and watch it!

c) Pre-order the complete Season One DVD boxset of FlashForward on Amazon! It’s the most important action to let ABC know: the show didn’t fail!

d) Purchase the complete Season One on iTunes.

e) Buy Robert J. Sawyer’s bestseller novel signed by the author, which the series was based on! Click here for the smaller version (cheaper), and here for the bigger version, with better typeset!

VI. Petitions, Polls & Alike

a) Sign this online petition! Also, help these petitions to increase numbers at PetitionSpot, GoPetition and another at PetitonSpot!

b) Visit SaveThatShow.com, and vote for FlashForward! Choose the “it’s perfect” option! Remember: you can vote every 24 hours! Also, scroll to the end of the page and leave a comment with your opinion about the series!

c) Those living in the US can register at ABC Inner Circle and vote for FlashForward here! (The poll appears only for new registrations.)

d) Make a video yourself, in which you say “I’m (your name), I live in (your country/state), and I want FlashForward back!” The video must be shorter than 15 seconds. Send it as an e-mail attachment to bringflashforwardback@hotmail.com! The shots will be edited together & will appear on YouTube, as a sign of our protest! - The first video is done, click HERE to watch it! And keep sending the videos, if you haven’t done it yet!

e) Go to ABC’s FlashForward message board and write posts telling how much you love the series, and you WANT to see a second season! To submit posts, click ‘Register’ at the top of the page.

f) Visit SciFiWire.com’s poll about season finales, and vote for FlashForward! Also, leave a comment with your opinion about missing the series!

g) TV Choice magazine has a poll about series in the UK. Here, vote for FlashForward in the “new drama” category, ignore the rest of the questions by clicking ‘Next’, until you can submit your answer!

h) Register on the Internet Movie Database, and vote FlashForward 10 points here!

i) Visit the Mosaic Collective website. Register, log in and click ‘Add FlashForward’, then write that you saw the second season coming in your FlashForward!

j) E Online has a poll concerning the best and worst season finales. Vote for FlashForward as the best one (first poll), I leave the second poll up to you. And then click ‘vote’!

k) There is a poll about canceled series on Zap2it. Scroll down and vote for FlashForward.

l) E Online holds a poll about heart-breaking cancellations. Vote for FlashForward, and I suggest leaving the “new show” part blank. Enter the security code and click ‘Vote’.

a) If you have a Twitter account, add this twibbon to your profile picture.
